ArtiSential’s double-jointed end effector allows the instrument to move with 360 degrees of freedom, which enables various angles of approach to the surgical site while mimicking the function of the human hand.
Locking Feature (Optional)
For the model with locking feature, the articulating ability of ArtiSential instruments can be controlled using the locking lever. When the locking lever is activated, the double jointed end effector is locked in any desired geometry within its range of motion.
This will fix the UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT articulating joints while OPEN/CLOSE action is allowed.
